Consultant

Dr. Walter Brey is a Consultant with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC), a Brookfield, Wisconsin-based management consulting firm that provides performance solutions to organizations, teams, and individuals.   He brings over twenty-five years of experience to his consulting interventions.

Dr. Brey’s professional areas of expertise encompass organization development, assessment and development planning, change management, management learning program design and delivery, and team building.  His most recent work has involved creating learning programs for corporate Intranet sites, executive development, management training, competency development and program management, and 360-degree coaching and development planning.

Prior to re-affiliating with ODC, Dr. Brey held a number of responsible roles in various private sector organizations.  He was Manager of Management Development and later Senior Learning Partner for Siemens.  At Square D, he was Manager of Team Development.  With Keebler, he was Manager of Employee Development.  He was Manager of Change Management at Whitman-Hart.  In the mid-1990’s, he was Vice President and Director of ODC’s WorkSmart Learning and Development Division.

Dr. Brey is a Senior Faculty member and Visiting Professor at the Keller Graduate School of Management.  He has taught at Keller since 1982 and teaches the Human Resources courses.  He has taught Strategic Staffing, Training and Development, Managing Organizational Change, Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Diversity, Labor Relations and Human Resources Management.

Dr. Brey earned his doctoral degree from Vanderbilt University.  He holds a master’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University.  Marquette University granted his bachelor’s degree.
