Our Approach to Organization Development
At Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC), we pursue organization development from a systems
perspective. This means that we view organizations as
dynamic entities comprised of identifiable component
parts. When these parts are properly aligned and linked,
an environment of high performance is created. That
is the goal we pursue in our programs and activities
with our clients.
To achieve this end, we believe that organizations
must confront issues of (1) external adaptation having
to do with the three C’s—Customers, Competition,
and Change and (2) internal integration having to
with the three P’s—Purpose, Partnership
and Processes.
In helping our clients address the three C’s
and the three P’s, we:

Analyze the strengths and developmental
areas of the organization and its work units.

Partner with our clients to craft
forward-looking business plans that specify actions
and methods to be pursued at the organizational,
team or work area, and individual levels.

Offer hands-on support in real-time
fashion as the plans are implemented.

Varying levels of process consulting
and support are offered, ranging from one-on-one
coaching of key managers to team-based assistance
as systemic improvements are pursued.
