Dr. Williams is a Consultant with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC). She possesses over eight years
of professional experience, including significant work
in adult assessment, education, and development.
Her work includes the assessment of learning and developmental
skills in young adults both as an instructor and as
an assessment professional.
In addition to her affiliation with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC), she
serves as an Analyst for UW System Administration overseeing
the state-wide evaluation of pre-college outreach activities
at each system institution.
Dr. Williams’s specific areas of professional
expertise and interest include: the assessment and measurement
of higher order thinking skills, especially critical
thinking; the design and development of survey and testing
instruments; test validation; teaching adult learners;
statistical modeling, particularly of respondent behavior;
and the evaluation of learning and learning programs.
Dr. Williams has made numerous presentations to local,
national, and international professional groups and
associations.
Recent presentations have been made at the American
Education Research Association (AERA), American Association
of Higher Education (AAHE), and workshops sponsored
by the American Association of Colleges and Universities
Dr. Williams’ terminal degree in Psychology—Assessment
and Measurement is from James Madison University. Additionally,
she holds a master’s degree in Neuroscience from the
Medical College of Wisconsin and an undergraduate degree
