Ms. Jennifer Johnson is a Consultant with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC). Ms. Johnson brings twenty-two plus years of experience as an integral part of a public safety Command Staff team. In this capacity Ms. Johnson has worked with various committees, Common Council, and Police and Fire Commission, and county, state, and federal government entities. Ms. Johnson was a team leader working in conjunction with a cross-section of department representatives to research and develop the Strategic Plan for her employer. She interacted with many internal and external partners and developed a strong rapport. Ms. Johnson has been asked to serve as a member of the six person guiding coalition for the implementation of the strategic plan that was developed as a result of this process.
Through her consulting work, Ms. Johnson developed client specific leadership development and communication training, conducted preliminary organizational assessments, and facilitated groups and teams for a diverse group of public and private organizations and professional groups. As an adjunct for Fox Valley Technical College-Criminal Justice Center for Innovation, Ms. Johnson has collaborated on the development of online learning programs.
Ms. Johnson has also been involved with the Law Enforcement Administrative Professionals (LEAP) group in partnership with Fox Valley Technical College – Criminal Justice Center for Innovation (FVTC-CJCI) since 1996 and has been on the Advisory Board since its inception in 1997. She has also been part of various projects through LEAP, such as the LEAP Reference Manual/CD, LEAP Salary Survey and marketing the LEAP Group to various organizations. She was Chair of the 2005 LEAP Annual Conference and is also past Chair of the LEAP Training Advisory Committee, which provides oversight for the training series and annual conference.
Ms. Johnson is a member of the Waukesha (Wisconsin) Chapter – International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). She has served in several leadership roles at the local and Wisconsin Division level, to include President and Vice-President, and as Chair of several committees at the Division level.
Ms. Johnson serves as Chair of the Administrative Professional Advisory Committee at Waukesha County Technical College (Pewaukee, Wisconsin).
Ms. Johnson has completed a Master of Arts in Education with emphasis in Adult Learning and Organizational Development through Alverno College, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Administration through University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and her Associate Degree in Business through University of Wisconsin-Waukesha.
