Dr. Kelly Williams is a consultant with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC). She possesses over ten years of professional experience, including significant work in adult assessment, adult education, and development of high performance learning systems. In addition to her affiliation with ODC, she serves as Director of Assessment and Evaluation for Edgewood College’s (Madison, Wisconsin) Division of Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS).
Dr. Williams’ specific areas of professional expertise and interest relative to assessment and measurement include: program evaluation; assessment and measurement of higher order thinking skills, especially critical thinking; the design and development of survey and testing instruments; test validation; teaching adult learners; statistical modeling, particularly of respondent behavior; and the evaluation of learning and learning programs. Her previous position as an Analyst for UW System Administration involved overseeing the statewide evaluation of pre-college outreach activities at each system institution.
Dr. Williams has made numerous presentations to local, national, and international professional groups and associations. Recent presentations have been made at the American Education Research Association (AERA), American Association of Higher Education (AAHE), and workshops sponsored by the American Association of Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Williams’ terminal degree in Psychology—Assessment and Measurement is from James Madison University. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in Neuroscience from the Medical College of Wisconsin and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Alverno College. She is a licensed psychologist in Wisconsin.
