Dr. David Gibson is a Consultant with ODC, bringing over a decade of experience with strategic leadership development, executive coaching, team alignment, performance management, and facilitation. In addition to his affiliation with ODC, Dr. Gibson serves as a Visiting Professor with Edgewood College, supporting the master’s program in Organization Development.
Dr. Gibson has extensive experience coaching executives to greater levels of performance. Additionally, he has conducted leadership development consultations focused on a variety of topics, including Increasing Emotional Intelligence, Enhancing Interpersonal Skills, and Transforming Leadership. Dr. Gibson’s past experience includes serving as an external consultant for one of the world’s largest consulting organization, as well as directing training and organizational development efforts for a large regional healthcare network.
Dr. Gibson earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville. He has conducted research on the effect of trust in leader on job satisfaction and intent to leave. His current research interests have to do with leadership effectiveness and failure, the effects of interpersonal variables on business outcomes, and historical leadership analysis.
