Dr. Schroeder channels 25 years of professional excellence into his work with Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC) and Edgewood College

BROOKFIELD, WI, August 18, 2020, Dr. Daniel Schroeder has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Backed by more than 25 years of experience in organization development and leadership, Dr. Schroeder excels as the owner of, and an industrial-organizational (i-o) psychologist with, Organization Development Consultants, Inc. (ODC), which he established with a partner in the mid-1990s. In the former capacity, he serves regional and national clients by offering evidence-based performance solutions for individuals, teams and organizations. Dr. Schroeder also shares his considerable expertise by teaching courses related to organizational behavior, leadership and change in the undergraduate and graduate programs at Edgewood College, programs that he founded.

Before co-founding Organization Development Consultants, Inc., Dr. Schroeder found success as a management consultant for a Chicago-based and a Milwaukee-based firm through which he completed a wide range of projects relating to employee section and placement, training and development, productivity improvement programming and organizational development and effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he worked as a vocational consultant with the Travelers Insurance Company and as a vocational evaluator with a Jefferson County (WI) human services agency. Dedicated to his community, Dr. Schroeder has contributed as a pro bono Judge for the Better Business Bureau’s International Torch Award for Ethics and by offering his services throughout the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

A certified clinical trauma professional and a licensed psychologist who holds two board certifications, Dr. Schroeder  earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Professional Business from the University of Wisconsin, a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University, and a doctorate in Psychology/Organizational Science from the University of Wisconsin. He remains aware of changes in the field through his alignment with such organizations as the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards, the American Psychological Association, the Association for Talent Development, the International Society for Performance Improvement, and, to name a few. With a plethora of knowledge to his credit, Dr. Schroeder was a Featured Columnist for Biz Times Milwaukee between 1995 and 2017. 

In light of his professional expertise, Dr. Schroeder has been honored many times. In addition to becoming a national finalist for the Dr. John Maxwell Leadership Award in 2015, he was presented with the Torchlight Award from the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin Foundation in 2016, the President’s Award for Excellence from St. Coletta of Wisconsin in 2017 and the Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award from Edgewood College in 2018. That same year, he was appointed as a Judge for the American Psychological Association’s Psychologically Healthy Workplace Awards. Looking ahead, Dr. Schroeder intends to continue to share his experience and insights while operating as a visible and influential leader within the field of industrial-organizational psychology.
